Abstract

In this course, you will learn what Artificial Intelligence (AI) is, explore use cases and applications of AI, understand AI concepts and terms like machine learning, deep learning, and neural networks. You will be exposed to various issues and concerns surrounding AI such as ethics and bias, & jobs.  You will also demonstrate AI in action with a mini-project.

This course does not require any programming or computer science expertise and is designed to introduce the basics of AI to anyone whether you have a technical background or not.

當機器人來上班-未來職場的AI必修課,以培訓大學生及職場人士具備AI基礎數位與人文科普通識教育為主,具備未來工作智慧職場應用職能為教育目標客群。這是一門數位人文科普課程,強調以AI案例或實務將概念落地,最終教育目標在協助職場新鮮人、或現職工作者或中高階主管,能理解AI發展與應用趨勢、如何與AI專家跨領域溝通,具備AI作為其中一種新世代資訊素養的終生學習能力。


本次國際班課程以國際推廣為目的,只設置一次測驗作為通過標準,且與一般課程不同,並無發行證書。


The international class curriculum for this session is designed for international promotion purposes, and only one test is set as the passing criterion. It is different from regular courses and does not issue certificates.

1. Students will be able to understand artificial intelligence.

2. Students will be aware of the application of artificial intelligence in the workplace.

3. Students will interpret AI as a new generation of digital literacy.

Prerequisites

Pre-course Abilities

1. This course does not require any background knowledge. Students who have previously taken the course "Design Thinking for Big Data" or "When Robots Take Jobs - AI Mandatory Courses for the Future Workplace" may have an advantage. 

2. Those who have a basic understanding of basic statistics and data analysis. 

3. Having a passion for implementing artificial intelligence in the workplace and having heard of AI applications in various fields.


Target Audience

1. Students: Technical college level and above, with an interest in future workplace applications of artificial intelligence. 

2. Industry Professionals: Small and medium-sized business employees, managers, or department staff interested in gradually implementing "AI job process re-design". 

3. Makers: Regardless of age, makers interested in utilizing "AI job process redesign" as their main entrepreneurial concept.
