Focusing on four major events—the Summer Olympics, Winter Olympics, Asian Games, and FISU World University Games—students explore their history, development, and cultural contexts.
Each unit features two core modules: Reading Lesson (comprehension and core knowledge) and Video/Speaking Lesson (media immersion and communication). Through texts, multi-context videos, key vocabulary, and interactive quizzes, learners build field-specific language skills. The highlight, "You Be the Anchor," allows students to simulate sports reporters, confidently applying English in real-world sports settings.

o You Be the Anchor: Simulate sports anchors or field reporters to build real-world speaking confidence and agility.
本課程採 EMI（全英語授課）數位教學，結合國際賽事知識與專業體育英語訓練，分為兩大核心模組：
o 文本閱讀 (Reading Text)： 透過文章與影片解析，掌握賽事背景、歷史起源、基本規則與國際組織。
o 線上討論 (Online Discussion)： 於平台針對引導問題發表心得，促進同儕互動與反思。
o 影音與實用句型 (Video & Expressions)： 精選國際賽事影片，學習體育報導、選手介紹、場館指引及志工服務等高頻用語。
o 線上口說任務 (You Be the Anchor)： 模擬體育主播與現場記者進行賽事播報，鍛鍊臨場口說實務能力。
This is a fully online course with four units. Each unit includes Reading and Video/Speaking lessons. Students learn through online videos, reading, speaking practice, quizzes, online discussions, and AI-based assignments. These activities help students use English in real international sports situations.
[中文] 本課程採全線上學習，共有四個單元。每單元包含 Reading 與 Video/Speaking 課程。學生透過網路平台進行影片觀看、閱讀、口說練習、線上測驗與線上討論，並完成 AI 作業，引導學生將英語實際運用於國際體育情境。
Passing Score: 60 / 100 points.
Volunteer Service (40%): Complete the required volunteer hours in sports events or related fields.
Option A (In-Person): Complete at least 8 hours of international sports event volunteer service before the end of the semester.
Option B (Alternative Assignment): If you cannot participate in person, submit a video report on "Sports English" to replace the 8-hour volunteer requirement.
Video Lectures (30%): Completion rate and viewing time for all unit lecture videos.
Assignments & Quizzes (15%): In-class quizzes, unit assignments, and practical speaking task submissions.
Online Discussions (15%): Posting learning reflections on unit topics and engaging with peers on the discussion board.

志工服務Volunteer Service (40 %)：完成指定之體育賽事或相關領域志工服務時數。
方案 A（實體參與）：於本學期課程結束前，完成國際賽事志工服務滿 8 小時。
方案 B（替代作業）：若無法參與實體志工，需完成「運動賽事英語」影音報告乙份，以代替 8 小時志工時數。
影片觀看(30 %)：各單元教學影音之觀看進度與時數。
線上作業與測(15 %)：隨堂測驗、單元作業與口說實作作業。
線上討論(15 %)：於線上討論區針對單元議題發表心得並進行同儕互動。

For speaking and oral tasks (such as broadcasting simulations), please submit videos in MP4 format or audio recordings in MP3 / M4A format.
