Learning through the acclaimed drama Gold Leaf (茶金), set in the 1950s tea industry of Taiwan, this course is organised into 4 weekly modules:
This is a fully online course that you can study at your own pace.
Over 4 weeks (about 2 hours per week), each unit combines drama clips, short video lessons, and interactive activities and quizzes.
Learners are assessed through the quizzes and activities in each unit. To complete the course, please finish all course units and quizzes.
This is an intermediate-level course. A basic foundation in Mandarin Chinese pronunciation and vocabulary is recommended, as the course develops vocabulary, listening, and comprehension through an authentic Taiwanese TV series.
