摘要

Climate change and extreme weather events are becoming more frequent, posing a serious threat to human health. It is important for individuals, businesses, communities, and countries to adapt to the impacts of climate change by using environmental technologies.

This course will explore climate change from the perspectives of care, diet, environment, and education, and share case studies from Taiwan and around the world. The course will guide students to think about how to apply climate change adaptation to their own areas of expertise and implement it in their daily lives.

課程目標

1. Help learners understand climate change adaptation and climate change.
2. Develop the ability to adapt to life in a changing climate.
3. Raise awareness of disaster risk and adaptation measures.
4. Stimulate brainstorming with case studies, and think about adaptation plans that can be implemented by oneself or in collaboration with others.
5. Promote environmental sustainability and reduce the impacts of climate change.

上課形式

The course is divided into 17 main units, with several 10-15 minute videos depending on the amount of learning that takes place in each week. Weekly quizzes and discussions are provided to help learners quickly confirm that they understand the content of the course.
